We want to thank everyone for coming out to our South American wine tasting this past week. We had a great turn out to listen to two guest speakers representing two South American wineries, both under the same company: Carolina Wine Brands. Jose Salman represented the Finca El Origin winery from Argentina and Inigo Artiagoitia represented Santa Carolina winery located in Chile. The big winners of the night were the Malbecs and the Pinot Noir.
Keep an eye out for our next tasting event coming up in the middle of March. See you then.

We want to thank every one that came out to our Austrian Wine Tasting on the 12th of August! We had a great turn out of folks planned and the planning paid off with a great showing of wines and great weather to boot. John did a great job of taking us through 6 excellent wines from this often slept on wine producing country. The wines showed so well that we sold out of a large portion of them at the end of the first tasting leaving people at the second tasting wanting. So, we want to thank everyone for their patience as we waited for more of the sold out wines to come in for sale. We hope everyone had a great time and we can’t wait to see you at the next event which will be here before you know it.

We want to thank everyone that came out to the 6th Annual Grgich Wine Dinner at Varanese. This was a two night event that was packed each night. As always, the food by John Varanese and the wine by Grgich Hills paired perfectly. This is always a fun event to attend and we highly recommend checking out the 7th annual dinner next year.
Thank you to everyone that came out for the Halloween Trolley Hop. Regardless of the cold and rainy weather, we had a good turn out. We were entertained by some stories by Mr. Bill Samuels of Maker’s Mark while getting to sample the Maker’s 46 bourbon straight or mixed in the “Maker’s Mule” cocktail. We also enjoyed live, classic Americana tunes of the Hound of the Buskervilles. We are looking forward to next month’s ALL DAY FAT Friday for more fun and excitement. To find out more, check the events calendar for more details.
